Kathleen consistently serves as arranger and band leader for her performances. In 2023 Kathleen also began creating choral arrangements for the University of Toronto Jazz Choir. 

Kathleen's arrangements focus on subverting expectations in small ways while still making the work accessible. Kathleen also acknowledges how different musicians can colour a performance, so she makes sure to leave room for them to showcase their own ability and style.
