Teaching - Merriam School of Music

Since Fall of 2022 Kathleen has been a Voice and Piano teacher at Merriam School of Music at their Oakville location. In Fall 2023 she will begin teaching at their Toronto location. ​

Kathleen has received her RCM Grade 9 in Piano and has recently completed her Bachelor's of Music Performance specializing in Classical and Jazz Voice from the University of Toronto. Her technical knowledge and theory proficiency combined with a vast amount of performance experience have all come together to inform her comprehensive coaching style.

Kathleen's specialities include: 

Voice - Pop, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Classical

Piano - Introductory Jazz and Classical below RCM Gr 5

Self Accompaniment - Piano and Guitar

Vocal Production Consulting 

Kathleen has been singing in a studio since she was 6 years old. She knows from experience how to get the sound a singer wants when they're in that vocal booth. In studio sessions she has served as a consult and has successfully worked with artists to make sure their vocal stylings and artistic intent align.
